Christmas card Winner

Rathfriland High School entered a number of their Year 9 and 10 pupils into the SELB Christmas card competition for the second year.  The range of subject matter and technique was quite varied. Four prizes were up for grabs in the Primary and Post Primary section, after winning this competition last year we thought we hadn’t a very good chance.

However Carly Green a pupil from year 10 was fortunate enough to be selected as a winner for the competition by Marie Donnell the Chairperson of the SELB.  Carly attended the board head office on the 10^th December `08 and received her prize, a framed copy of the card and a cheque for £100.  Mr Harper and Mrs Taylor also attended the awards.
