Onesie Day at Rathfriland High

24th Nov 2014
Onesie Day at Rathfriland High

On Friday 24th November students at RHS ditched the school uniforms and donned their onesie for the day! A colourful collection of cosy onesies was celebrated with a fashion show where stylish students  (and staff) strutted their stuff on the catwalk.

Prizes were awarded for the best strut in both junior and senior school to worthy winners Adam Grant, 8A3 and Rebecca Cahoon and her walking partner Kathryn Stanfield from year 11.

The prize for the cutest onesie went to Lucy Barlow in 8A2. Special mention must go to Miss Deane from the Science Department who showed how it was done on the catwalk!

Let’s not forget though that this was all in aid of a very worthy cause with over £400 being raised for the Northern Ireland Cancer Fund for Children. Well done to Mrs Budde and her form class, in particular Laura Moore, Alex Irvine and Emma Parker for helping to organise such a great day.
