Friday the 19th March saw Rathfriland High School hold their first ever formal! The event was held in the Slieve Donard Hotel, Newcastle and was attended by many of the pupils and teachers. The evening was a great success and everyone enjoyed the three course meal which was served. The formal proceedings ran late into the night with some great dancing from both the teachers and pupils.
The formal committee was made up of Lois Bingham, Linda Cochrane, Lauren English, Rachael McMinn, Adam Kinley and Jonathan Harmon. These individuals were responsible for organising the entire evening. The formal committee would like to thank everyone for attending the event and making it such a great night. They would also like to say a special thank you to Mr Harper for allowing the event to happen and to Mrs Doran for helping them with the financial aspects.
It truly was a fantastic night which was thoroughly enjoyed by everyone!
