Well what a fantastic three days we had in Killowen with a fearless and fun loving bunch! Over the three days we went bouldering, rock climbing, abseiling, scrambling and completed a rope traverse. Mr Richardson and Mrs Hawthorne were mightily impressed by the attitude, behaviour and bravery of the 25 year 8’s.
The pupils were split into 2 groups for all the activities and they called themselves ‘The Goonies’ and ‘The Haricopters’. Points were awarded for exceptional behaviour, the best chant, dorm inspections and in our talent show. ‘The Goonies’ were crowned champions after a fiercely fought competition.
A wonderful three days were had by all.
