Today is World Book Day and to celebrate Year 8 pupils watched a specially made programme by the C2K Newsdesk and EA TV. It featured 10 novels recommended by the Newsdesk and local pupils and schools. Well done to St Mary's PS, Rathfriland on their review of "Under the Hawthorne Tree". 8A1's vote went to C. S. Lewis' "The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe". Look out for those £1 off tokens in schoolbags and the upcoming competition to design next year's token!
