Years 11 and 12 Business Studies pupils went along to meet Mr Pat Tayto at Tayto Castle on Wednesday 10th October. After their meeting with Mr Tayto pupils were robed up in blue aprons and hats before taking the factory tour. We saw where the potatoes were stored and kept prior to being turned into the famous crisps. The tour then took us onto the factory floor where we saw the potatoes peeled, fried, flavoured and packaged. At the end of our visit our guide gave us a quiz and then our choice of multi-pack of crisps. A noisey but worthwhile visit.
