We were delighted to be welcomed into Banbridge Civic Centre’s Council Chambers last week, to celebrate the success of our sports teams over the last academic year. Pictured are representatives from the following teams:
- Boys Under 13 Football, winners of the Northern Ireland Small Schools Cup.
- Boys Under 14 Rugby, winners of the Ulster Rugby U14 Plate.
- Boys Under 15 Football, winners of the South Down Plate.
- Girls football team, in their first year of playing competitively, winners of the Pat Jennings Newry Mourne and Down Cup.
We are grateful to the council members both for the invitation and hospitality. Our pupils and staff are pictured with, Deputy Lord Mayor Kyle Savage, Alderman Ian Burns, Councillor Joy Ferguson, Councillor Ian Wilson and Councillor Kevin Savage. We would also like to thank Alderman Glenn Barr, for his kind invitation.
This reception marks an end to the celebrations of last year’s success and hopefully wets the appetite for our pupils to go out again this year and compete for these titles again.
