Donor drive for a blood cancer charity (DKMS)
A neighbouring school (Kilkeel High) has shared some information regarding a Donor drive for a blood cancer charity (DKMS). The event takes place on Saturday 16th November from 10am to 4pm in Kilkeel. It is hoped that many people from all around the area will come forward and swab so they can go onto the DKMS Stem Cell Register and maybe save a life!
Please find some further information attached and consider supporting this very worthy cause.
🚨 We need YOUR help! 🚨
Kilkeel High School have teamed up with blood cancer charity DKMS UK to run a donor registration event, to encourage more potential lifesavers to join the stem cell register.
All it takes is 5 minutes of your time and three simple cheek swabs, so please come along and register. Once you are on the stem cell register, you’ll be a lifesaver-in-waiting for someone in need of a stem cell transplant.
