The annual Year 8 residential to Killowen Outdoor Education Centre took place between Wednesday 18th and Friday 20th September 2013.
Year 8 pupils were able to take part in exciting activities such as bouldering, canoeing, scrambling and the zip line. It was great for pupils to enjoy activities together outside the classroom, with many overcoming nerves to take part in them.
The residential gave Year 8 pupils the opportunity to get to know their classmates and to engage in team working activities. A Talent Competition was held on the final night with many great entries. Well done to the winners.
The instructors at the centre were great fun and as usual, the food was fantastic! Overall- a great experience!
