Year 8 Killowen Residential
The yearly Killowen residential for Year 8 took place between Monday17th and Friday 21st September. The Year 8 pupils were able to take part in activities such as bouldering, canoeing, climbing, abseiling and the zip line.
The residential gave the pupils the opportunity to get to know their classmates and to engage in team working activities.
Pupils were exposed to the fresh sea air at Carlingford and it was noted that not too many needed encouragement at night to go to bed after an action packed day outdoors!
As usual, the food at the centre was to a high standard, although the teachers did allow the pupils to stop off at Rostrevor the first night, for some treats.
