The Rathfriland High School in winning form at the TRI inter schools show jumping league for the second year in a row. The show jumping team of Rosey Herron, Sarah Craig, Taylor McKnight and new member Sophie Hamilton won the TRI inter schools show jumping league, winning 4 out of the 6 rounds. There were 24 teams that competed over the 6 weeks from schools all over Northern Ireland. The competition required clear jumping rounds and speed against the clock, which requires practice, precision and dedication from the whole team. They brought back the shield once again for the school.
Taylor McKnight had a fantastic win in the very competitive individual competition for the second year running and Sophie Hamilton finished in fourth place.
