Today our U14 Rugby team made the trip to Ballyclare Rugby Club, for a 7 a-side tournament organised and ran by Ulster Rugby. The boys did themselves and the school proud, winning two matches in the four match round robin format, finishing 3rd overall.
In their two losses to Carrick and Sperrin each game was decided by only one score and they certainly pushed both teams all the way.
Player of the tournament goes to Alex Irwin, who played brilliantly throughout the day. He was well supported by the rest of the squad and we look forward to seeing how this team progresses over the season.
