U14's Maintain Unblemished League Record
Our U14 Rugby side made another long journey to the Ards Peninsula, this time to take on Strangford Integrated in their third league game of the season.
They fought tooth and nail in a back-and-forth encounter against a team with some huge ball carrying forwards. Constantly and consistently the boys got stuck in, to both tackles and rucks and although our try scorers, Ben Megaw and Ryan Johnston X 2 (Oliver Kelly conv x 3) are to be commended; the match was won through the defensive efforts of the team.
It was a day for rolling the sleeves up and winning ugly; they can all be very proud of their mentality and effort.
Man of the match went to James Davidson, who got through a mountain of work, that can often go unappreciated. The highlight of which was a massive try saving tackle right at the end of the first half.
Well done to all and we look to work towards our final league game where we hope to clinch the South-East title.
