Year 10 Pupils at Francofest competition
On 8th February, 4 of our year 10 pupils visited Queens University Belfast to take part in NICILT’s annual Francofest competition. They spent the morning competing with 29 other schools by setting up their own trade stand and marketing their product in French to the judges. It is safe to say that they held their own against some tough competition and proudly represented the school by putting in an excellent performance and receiving some fantastic feedback on their work! To calm the nerves while we waited for the prize winners to be announced NICILT had organised an employability talk, as well as, an eagerly anticipated guided tour of the Queen’s University campus. And whilst this year, unfortunately, we did not win a prize I truly feel the girls did an amazing job and they should be very proud of themselves and the effort that they made! Well done, you have definitely set the standard for next year!
