Year 10s have recently been studying ‘’Development’’ in Geography and have decided to raise awareness of, and money for a charity in a LEDC by reading in English and Geography lessons. The reading event is taking place between Thursday the 10th and Wednesday the 16th of March 2016.
Pupils will have the opportunity to read in all English and Geography lessons using materials they bring in. This should improve reading skills and raise much needed funds for New Beginnings.
New Beginnings is a charity set up by Kilkeel man Roger Annett in Uganada to help orphaned and disadvantaged children achieve a better future.
