Year 11 visited Parliament Buildings at Stormont
8th Jul 2013
On Friday 26th April Year 11 visited Parliament Buildings at Stormont. The purpose of the visit was to give the pupils an insight into the day to day workings of the Northern Ireland Assembly. The group took part in a mock election with Josh Wilson coming out as the successful candidate. After the interactive presentation on the Assembly, the group had a tour of the buildings. The South Down MLA, Mr. John McCallister was on hand to answer the numerous searching questions asked by the pupils. Mr McCallister certainly made the pupils think about the issues that affect them in the Rathfriland area.
