On Friday 25th January, Mrs Tumilty and the Year 12 Geography class headed to the Titanic Quarter to do a walking tour of the area. This is one of the case studies for GCSE Geography to illustrate urban planning in an inner city area. Despite the very wet conditions, it was a very informative visit with students getting to see the redevelopment as well as the drawing offices where Titanic was born and the huge dry dock where she was fitted out.
