Year 12 Geography trip to the Titanic Quarter
17th Dec 2015
On Wednesday 16th December the Year 12 Geography class, accompanied by Mrs Tumilty and Mr Heenan, visited the Titanic Quarter Belfast. The class have to study the area as a case study of urban regeneration for their upcoming exam in June. The Field Studies Council NI gave the students some background to the area in an interactive classroom before heading out into the area to see how it has changed land use and how this has benefitted this inner city area in terms of employment and housing. Afterwards the class (and teachers!) enjoyed some lunch and shopping in Victoria Square.
