Recently, our Year 12 Health and Social Care pupils had the privilege of welcoming Nicole Donnell, a children's nurse, to discuss how hospitals meet the physical and intellectual needs of a 13 year old girl with a severe nut allergy. This invaluable session provided pupils with primary information to support their controlled assessment, highlighting the importance of first-hand resources in understanding real world healthcare practices.
