The recent Year 8 trip to Shannaghmore Adventure Centre provided an invaluable educational experience and opportunity for making and maintaining friendships. Situated in the picturesque Mourne Mountains, they offer a range of outdoor activities that challenge pupils and promote personal growth. Pupils participated in activities like bouldering, high ropes and archery which help to develop their physical skills, balance and coordination. These activities also enhance problem-solving abilities and risk assessment skills. This trip serves as a foundation for strong friendships that will likely be felt throughout their time at Rathfriland High School.
