This week our Year 9 Pupils enjoyed a talk from The Schomberg Society who are based in Kilkeel. In conjunction with our Year 9 History study of the Ulster Plantation Matthew and James kindly delivered an enjoyable presentation about the history of the Ulster Scots and how their influences are still evident in our culture today, especially in our churches and in our language.
The weeans had a brave bit ‘o craic the day!
