Daily Timetable
The school day starts at 8:30 a.m. with registration. Pupils should be in school promptly to ensure they are marked present.
Punctuality
Punctuality is an important part of self-discipline and is essential to good time management.
If you arrive after 8.30am you should proceed immediately to assembly or Form Registration.
Monday - KS4 Assembly & KS3 Form
Tuesday - Form or Tutor Time
Wednesday - KS4 Form & KS3 Assembly
Thursday - Form or Tutor Time
Friday - Whole School Assembly
It is essential that you are marked present therefore you must report to the office if necessary. The late registration should be signed by your Year Tutor, returned to the office and then you move promptly to class.
Attendance
The proper place for your child to be on a school day is at school. If they are not in school then they must have a justifiable reason and you should telephone the school office between 8.35am and 9.00am on the first day of absence.
If your child is going to be away from school for more than 3 days then you must contact the school office on the third day of absence to tell us what is wrong.
You should always send a note explaining the absence when your child returns to school after being off sick. Attendance will be closely monitored and appropriate actions taken where necessary.
Parents are requested not to arrange family holidays during term time. Where this is unavoidable requests for leave of absence should be made in writing well in advance of the date.
