On Thursday 25th May a group of students and staff attended a Coronation Celebration at Armagh Civic Centre. To our surprise, there were some Royal guests present with King Charles and Queen consort Camilla in attendance. Our two student representatives Maisy Ellison and Billy Bennett (Year 10) were delighted to present the Royal couple with a Rathfriland High School Coronation Commemorative pin badge. What an amazing opportunity for our students to meet the new king, definitely a memory that they will cherish. Who knows the commemorative badge could be taking pride of place in Buckingham Palace right now!!
