Over the past number of months we have had frequent visitors…Young Enterprise!
They have teamed up with the numeracy and careers departments to deliver workshops aimed at supporting our Year 9s and Year 10s in the development of transferable, cross curricular skills.
The ‘Blast Off’ program was delivered to Year 9 in which pupils were given enterprise and entrepreneurship experience while enhancing employability skills, ultimately helping arm them with the tools needed to succeed in the world of work.
Ahead of option choices, Year 10 pupils were involved in the ‘Learn to Earn’ workshop which encouraged critical thinking about career and personal aspirations, career pathways and managing personal finances.
