Sporting success at Rathfriland High School continues. This time it is our Equestrian Team.
The equestrian team of Sophie Hamilton, Rosey Herron, Sarah Craig and Taylor McKnight have won their class at the inter schools show jumping league at the Meadows Equestrian Centre Lurgan.
This is the second year running that the Rathfriland High School team has won this competitive competition.
22 teams from schools all over Northern Ireland competed over the 6 weeks and Rathfriland High School team won 3 of these and was second in another.
Taylor McKnight also won the individual competition for the second consecutive year in a huge and competitive class, with Sophie Hamilton getting a fantastic 4th.
A prize giving is scheduled on 22 January 2022 in the Belmont Hotel,
