During the week of Monday 22nd September – Friday 26th September, Year 8 pupils of Rathfriland High took part in a residential to Killowen Outdoor Pursuit Centre. Each group enjoyed not only glorious weather but also a wide ranging programme of activities such as canoeing, bouldering, climbing, abseiling and zip-line. One group even managed to hold its very own “Rathfriland’s got Talent” competition.
The food at the centre was fantastic with plenty of second helpings for those who had built up an appetite throughout the day.
All pupils thoroughly enjoyed the residential and look forward to more of the same at Outward Bound in Year 10.
