On Monday 17th December members of The Schomberg Society, based in Kilkeel, paid a visit to Rathfriland High.
The visit enabled Year 8 to sample first hand the music and culture associated with the Ulster Scots tradition in
Three workshops were on offer during the day, these included Scottish dancing, Fyfe and drums and lastly dress and customs. This event concluded a very successful term 1 for the Year 8 – “I am what I am“ collaborative project.
