One of our Year 12 pupils Abigail Megaw, did a sponsored abseil down the Europa Hotel, in support of ‘The Soldiers Charity’. As a school we wanted to make a further contribution, so the Home Economics department and a number of Year 8 pupils made and sold chocolate apples at half term. Their efforts raised an impressive £200, which was donated to the charity. A big well done to all!!
We were delighted to be joined by David Forsey from the Soldiers Charity during assembly last week to learn more about their work.
